PEter Shea

Peter Shea is a current M.Div. student at Bethel Seminary, where he is focusing his studies on pastoral care and theology. Peter comes to Oasis Church with several years experience preaching at New Life Church in Wanamingo, MN, where he organized weekly Youth Group meetings, faith retreats, led children’s and youth Sunday School, and preached several times a year to the congregation. He finished his BA in Christian Ministries in 2020 from Bethel University. He and his wife, Dawn, married in 2004 and have four children. They enjoy fishing, swimming, games, movies and pizza!

Family Ministries

Melissa Fredin

Melissa resides in Oronoco, MN with her husband David. They have 8 children ranging in age from 11 to 27. Melissa has a BA degree from Concordia University. Melissa worked for the past 20 years in the Rochester Public Schools as the Youth Manager with children in Kindergarten through 12th grade and their families. She currently works part time for North American Council on Adoptable Children as a Parent Support Specialist. David and Melissa have been foster parents for more than 20 years for Olmsted County. She enjoys thrifting for vintage items, spending time outside and chauffeuring the children.

Zoë Berkland

Zoe is currently a senior at Century High School and a PSEO student at RCTC. In her free time, she enjoys playing the trumpet in her school’s marching/pep band, going to the gym with friends, reading, and playing the piano.
