Bible study: 11:00 - 11:45 AM (September - May)
Youth students meet with Geno Pyse downstairs in the youth room. The youth will be going through a youth/family devotional book, entitled, "Long Live the King," written by Geno Pyse. Each student will receive a copy. Borrowing from imagery from classics such as "The Pilgrim's Progress" and "The Chronicles of Narnia," each devotional focuses on a specific theological issue pertaining to the Christian life (e.g., the Bible, creation, the fall, temptation, the Lordship of Christ, the Gospel, compassion, etc.). Furthermore, each devotional contains questions to consider, and focal verses from the Bible. Families are certainly encouraged to look at these devotionals together.
youth group: 6:30 - 7:30 PM (September - May)
Grades 6-12. Students will first gather together for a time of teaching before breaking into small groups. This year the youth will be digging deep to discover who Jesus really is and how knowing him has the power to transform lives. Topics such as prayer, truth, right/wrong, and influences from society will be addressed at different times.
